to making life better for yourself and all people with disabilities. Because the threats to Medicaid and disability services are severe we are planning 2 days of action before the Governor’s budget address. Our main concern is cuts to the Home Services Program
and to CIL funding. The last 3 years have been a challenge to disability advocates as the state budget has been repeatedly attacked and there have been significant cuts. Because we have been aggressive and organized we have been able to largely stop any
Home Service Cuts. This year is a continuation of the ongoing state budget crisis and many politicians of both parties have talked about the need for deep Medicaid cuts.
