<div>The Senior Resource Center at Family Service, as part of a community collaboration, recently received a grant from the Christie Foundation to provide support and information to people in Champaign County with a dementia diagnosis and their families.</div>

<div>As part of that process, on Wednesday, February 8<font size="1"><span style="font-size:8pt;"><sup>th</sup></span></font> from 1:00 – 4:30, Sandy Burgener, Ph.D., APRN-BC, FAAN will be providing training to the staff of the Senior Resource Center on dementia

care support.  </div>

<div>We would like to invite interested professionals to join us for this opportunity to increase our skills around working with those facing Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  </div>

<div>The training is being offered free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis, but space may be limited.  We hope, however, to be able to accommodate all who are interested.  While we are not charging a fee for the training, we hope that everyone will

consider the real likelihood of being able to attend before reserving a spot so that everyone who wants to attend is able to do so.</div>

<div>At this point in time, the training is scheduled to be held at Family Service.  If necessary and possible, the venue may change to accommodate more people.  </div>
