want to make you aware of an opportunity coming up in our community this
fall. On October 27<sup>th</sup> the annual Mental Health and Aging
Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Urbana</st1:place></st1:City>. I am on the planning committee
for the conference and wanted to make the Senior Task Force aware of this event
for 2 reasons. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>First,
if you have an interest in mental health and aging, we plan to make this a very
affordable event and we will be offering CEUs, so “save the date.”
We don’t have all the speakers confirmed yet, but I will let you know
when we do.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Secondly,
we are looking for people who would like to share their professional information
through a display or exhibition table. Again, we want to make this very
affordable; the cost is only $25.00. We expect 150 people coming from all
over central <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Illinois</st1:place></st1:State>.
There will be time available for people to peruse displays and chat with
exhibitors during registration (8:30-9:00 a.m.), during a time set aside for
that purpose (from 10:00 – 10:30), and again at lunch which will be an
hour and fifteen minutes so that people do have time to spend in the exhibition
hall. Our target audience is health care, geriatric, and mental health
professionals.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
