[SeniorTaskForce-News] Senior Task Force Fall Kick-Off

Good Morning, Everyone:

Jacob has graciously set this event up so that Phillips Recreation Center will take RSVPs! We need everyone to RSVP (current participants and new participants) so that we have an accurate headcount for food and drink.  Planning is being finalized, but we are thinking fall-themed goodies. 😊

We hope you all can come out and enjoy a safe, outdoor gathering.  It will be nice to step back from the agenda and get to enjoy the fall colors and each other’s company. For current members, we ask that you mingle with new attendees so that they feel welcome and a part of the group. I have attached some questions and information to help us all be ambassadors (i.e. to present a united message about the group as well as to learn how this group can be welcoming and useful for a wider net of professionals and community members). This sheet is just for your reference, NOT to disseminate.

Please share this flyer on your social media and during your regular outreach activities. Hang it up if you happen to be out in the community. If you think of a group that would be interested in attending (your church, retired nurses, etc.) please pass this on and welcome them to join! The more diverse a group we bring to the table, the better we will be able to identify and take action on issues related to aging well in Champaign County.
