[SeniorTaskForce-News] COVID vaccination for homebound individuals

Hi Everyone,

I found out about this opportunity, verified it with Julie Pryde, and wanted to pass it along.

Currently CUPHD is conducting home visits for homebound individuals that still need their COVID vaccine. If you have clients that are homebound and need their vaccination, you need to gather the following info: Their name, DOB, and where they get their primary care (Carle, Christie, etc.). I, or you, can pass them on to Julie Pryde directly.

Julie also said that all COVID vaccination clinics will do "curbside jabs" for persons who can get to the clinic but cannot easily get out of their vehicles. That can be arranged at the time the appointment is being made.

Furthermore, she said they still have quite a few appointments open for the 65+ clinic tomorrow. If you have folks that need to get in tomorrow, they can call 217-531-5639 in the morning (Wed).
