Subject: Re: No April meeting of the Senior Task Force
Hi Julie,
I would like to let the group know that we have received emergency funds from IDOA to use for anyone 60 and over. They do not have to be a CCP participant. The funds are being used for seniors who have been effected by COVID-19 or do not have access to certain things due to COVID-19. If someone would like to make a referral for these funds, send the request directly to me. We can use these funds for purchase of non-perishable food items, paper goods, medical supplies, transportation services, and assisted technology (with IDOA approval). The maximum that can be spent is $500 per household.
We also have respite funds available.
If you need more information, please let me know.
