[SeniorTaskForce-News] Senior Task Force: DSMP Update Training

For anyone who is a Diabetes Self Management Program (DSMP) Leader, you must receive update training prior to August 1 to continue being certified to provide the program.  Stanford made changes to the DSMP program in 2016 which has necessitated this update training.

Cindy Fraser and I will be offering this 1-day update training on June 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Family Service offices.  The training is free for anyone in PSA 05 (east central Illinois) and will include updated an updated leader's manual.  Lunch will be provided at the participant's expense ($10) or participants may bring their own lunch but must stay in the building during the lunch hour as training will continue through most of the lunch hour.

To register, please contact me via email or phone no later than Wednesday, August 21, at 4:01 p.m.

Also, we will likely be offering a 4-day leaders training in August for those interested in being trained as a new DSMP leader.  Further details will follow.
