Wendy Bartlo brought the attached draft copy of the survey the Age Friendly Steering Committee is going to use to collect data from Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy residents age 50 or older in order to inform our efforts to have these communities join the Age Friendly movement.  (See AARP or WHO websites for more details about Age Friendly.)  Wendy can take suggestions on the survey the rest of this week before she and the University of Illinois Extension finalize the tool.  This is your opportunity to contribute your comments.  Wendy's email address is on the first page of the document and you may forward your comments or questions to her via that email.

Senior Task Force committee members are going to recruit people to help with the "field testing" of the draft.  This morning we started identifying locations or populations where the survey can be administered.  The goal is to have 500-1,000 surveys completed by the end of December or January.

I hope you will take a few minutes to look it over, considering the seniors in your personal and professional life and offer Wendy any ideas that you might have.
