Please pass this on. We need to write letters to the Gov.... We have a 2 month window now that the election is over to see if we can make any changes. If not, it looks like no budget until 2017.
Here is what we were told about the letter writing campaign and a couple of points:

  *   the Governor is not fulfilling his campaign promises
  *   writers should highlight how the budget situation is impacting them
  *   that his turnaround agenda has nothing to do with the budget and he should not be holding the budget hostage
  *   this is not good for business in Illinois
  *   he needs to be negotiating in good faith with the legislative leaders
