The Self-Help Center is pleased to announce its Spring Workshop: "Support Groups 101".

The workshop will take place on Friday, April 15 from 9:00 a.m. - noon at the University of Illinois Extension Office located at 801 North Country Fair Drive, Champaign, IL 61821.

The training will provide a general overview of the support group process including:

Establishing a support group
Facilitation/Leadership skills
Dealing with challenging group members

The trainers for this workshop are experts in this field: Kathy Rhoads, Kimberly Simpson and Shandra Summerville. All three serve on the Self-Help Center Advisory Council and will provide an enlightening experience for all.

Three (3) CE hours will be available for this training through the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois.

The cost for this workshop is $15. An additional fee of $15 will be required if CEUs are desired. Please make your check payable to the Self-Help Center and mail to the address listed below.

The seating for this workshop is limited, so registration will be based on a first-come first-serve basis.
