The Illinois TRIAD is thrilled to announce the 2015 Illinois TRIAD Conference will be held this year, September 15th and 16th, at the I Hotel & Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois. TRIAD is a network comprised of law enforcement officials from the state, county and local levels, as well as aging network professionals, members of local fire departments and seniors. This network is dedicated to protecting our aging population through activities such as implementing crime/injury prevention, education, and volunteer programs. The TRIAD program partners with Elderly Service Officers, officers who are certified by the Illinois Attorney General's Office in handling many of the concerns facing our seniors every day.


There are 4 ways to participate in the conference:  attendee, volunteer, vendor or sponsor.  If you would like any information on any of these ways to participate, please feel free to contact me or check our website, Illinois TRIAD<http://www.illinoistriad.com/>.  I have attached a copy of our conference flyer and vendor packet.

Ms. Burkhalter-

I understand from Pat Babich-Smith that you are looking for ways to spread the word about the TRIAD Conference in September and to let people know about possible sponsorship opportunities.  I co-chair the Senior Task Force of Champaign County which is a group of service providers, business people, community leaders, etc. who are interested in issues related to aging.  There are over 200 people on our listserv and I would be happy to email them with any fliers or information that you have and want to disseminate about your conference.  Just send me the information (preferably in a .pdf) and I will be glad to send it out.

The Task Force meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month and if you are ever interested in attending, you would be welcome.  At the end of each meeting there is an opportunity for people to give announcements of 1-2 minutes about items of interest.  If you'd like more details, just let me know.
