Urge your State Representative to Oppose Legislation that will Raise
Your Utility Rates! 

In a tight economy, older adults across Illinois are struggling to make
ends meet.  To make matters worse, utility giant ComEd is pushing for
legislation that will result in automatic annual rate increases for
consumers across Illinois for the next 10 years. ComEd's bill would also
impact customers served by Ameren, People's Gas/North Shore Gas and
Nicor gas.  The legislation, House Bill 14, eliminates much oversight by
the Illinois Commerce Commission and will result in higher utility bills
for YOU.

Tell your Representative to oppose House Bill 14!

This legislation, sponsored by Representative Kevin McCarthy, is a bad
move for Illinois consumers.  Tell your State Representative "No Way" to
