Roundabouts can make intersections less accessible to people with
disabilities.

What:   The City of Urbana is having a public "Committee of the Whole"
meeting, where he Urbana is considering 

                installation of "roundabouts" at 2 intersections
(possibly without signaling devices): 

 

*         Florida Avenue/Philo Road intersection (where where the City
is considering remove traffic and audible crossing signals at the
intersection of Florida Avenue/Philo Road)

*         Windsor Road/Race Street intersection (where the city is
considering removing stop signs)

When:    Monday, August 22 at 7:00 PM (mark your calendar!)

Where:   Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, IL
