<p>June 17 is Garden Walk Day! In honor of the 25<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the Master Gardener program, this year’s theme is <strong><em>Mastering the Garden</em> </strong>and features gorgeous gardens of your fellow Master Gardeners as well as the Champaign County Nursing Home and Juvenile Detention Center gardens and, of course, the Idea Garden. We still need site volunteers for the gardens on Garden Walk Day and Garden Angels to help in late May and early June. MGs answer questions on flowers, vegetables, insects, plant disease, turf, trees, landscaping, and more! Interns are required to complete 10 hours of service at the Horticulture Hotline to become certified.
