<p style="text-align: left;">IF you are tired of the rain keeping you out of the garden and are just dying to plant something; we have an opportunity for you to get some good “soil and garden group therapy” in on Wednesday, May 10 at 1:00 pm. It looks like mother nature is going to let us get our trowels into some soil and not have to bring our wading boots to do it (fingers crossed).</p>
<p>We are starting the season with our planting of the Proven Winners and Ball Seed company annuals; this is a great opportunity to warm up for the planting season, get some hours toward your volunteer hours, and see some of these beautiful new showcase plants that won’t be released to the market until 2018! Please consider joining us to help get the Trial Garden off to a strong start this season.</p>
<p>Bring your coffee or hot tea, garden trowel, knee pads and gloves and we will see you on Monday and/or Wednesday – we hope lots of you can join us as, “<em>many hands make light work</em>”.</p>

In honor of the 25<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the Garden Walk, this year’s theme is <strong><em>Mastering the Garden</em> </strong>and features gorgeous gardens of your fellow Master Gardeners as well as the Champaign County Nursing Home and Juvenile Detention Center gardens and, of course, the Idea Garden. We still need site volunteers for the gardens on Garden Walk Day and Garden Angels to help in late May and early June. Keep in mind that each garden has a designated budget for the year, not each season. Please note that reimbursements will not be made for individual purchases. They will be considered donations to the program.
