<p>Morning presenters will be excellent:</p>
<p><em>Garden Trends</em> with Amanda Krabbe, DACC educator and <em>8 Months of Color in the Garden</em> with Pat Sollars, Vermilion County Master Gardener.</p>
<p>This year's keynote afternoon speaker will be Doug Tallamy, author of two books including "Bringing Nature Home". <a style="color: #4276aa;" href="https://illinois.edu/emailer/forward2/7718686?emailAddress=ccmg-announce@lists.communitylists.org&orderId=3"><span style="color: #4276aa;">http://udel.edu/~dtallamy/</span></a> </p>
<p>‘Changing the plant base of all of suburbia is quite an undertaking but all you have to worry about is your eighth of an acre’</p>
<p>‘Our success is up to each one of us individually. We can each make a measurable difference almost immediately by planting a native nearby.</p>
<p>As gardeners and stewards of our land, we have never been so empowered—and the ecological stakes have never been so high.’</p>

<p>The cost for the Garden Day Workshop is $25 and will include all speaker presentations, donuts and coffee in the morning, a hot lunch prepared by the DACC Culinary Arts School, desserts prepared by Vermilion County Master Gardeners, and a Garden Day goodie bag. Coffee and donuts will start at 8 AM and the first presenter will start at 9 AM.</p>
<p>The Spring Festival portion consists of vendors, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. The public is welcome to attend the Spring Festival without purchasing a ticket.</p>
<p>Registration for Garden Day Workshop is limited -this event has sold out the last few years. Your payment reserves your seat in the auditorium.</p>
