<p>As the holidays approach, many of us will purchase or receive holiday plants. With a little extra attention, their beauty can last well beyond the holidays. Christmas cactus, poinsettia, amaryllis, rosemary trees, Norfolk pine, Christmas ferns, etc. all present their own challenges. Take a break from planning and learn how to care for your holiday plants so they can brighten your days long after the holidays have passed.</p>
<p>This program will take place at the Danville Public Library: 319 N Vermilion, Danville, IL 61832. Admission is $5. <p><strong>Wednesday, December 7 </strong>is the <em>Champaign County Master Gardener Annual Holly Day Celebration</em> at the Urbana Country Club. Doors open with a cash bar at 11:30 am, followed by a plated lunch of your choice at noon. Entertainment will follow the lunch.</p>
<p>Please select one of the three meal choices. All entrees include a desert.</p>
<p>Reservation for this event is required. Please register by <strong>Thursday, December 1</strong>. Registration can be done online with a credit card or pay by check via mail or dropping off at the Extension Office. Master Gardeners are encouraged to invite a guest.</p>

<p>In order to remain a part of the Champaign County University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Program, one must submit an annual <strong>2017 Volunteer Agreement</strong>. Master Gardeners Interns who are still working on completing their internships do not have to sign this agreement as the training agreement signed is sufficient until active volunteer status is achieved.</p>
<p>Please complete and return your agreement by <strong>Monday, January 9</strong>. You may mail, email, or hand deliver the agreement.</p>
