Have you considered the veil and hive? Join the Champaign County Master Gardeners as they welcome Dakota Radford, a 4th year hobby beekeepers from Douglas Hart Nature Center in Matoon, IL. Dakota will acquaint you with the basics of getting your new hobby started, while sharing her beginner experiences and advice for keeping bees. Dakota will also address pollination syndromes as well as various ways to promote pollinators in your garden. It will be a great educational and informative evening regardless of whether you'll be starting your own hive or just wanting to help the pollinators!</span></p>
