<p>While it’s hard to believe, the year 2016 is slowly winding down. Have you completed your volunteer and continuing education hours? If not, there’s still plenty of time to do so!</p>
<p>To remain an active Master Gardener volunteer, you are required to earn 30 hours of volunteer service and 10 hours of continuing education hours annually. Master Gardener Interns are required to complete a 60 hour internship prior to committing to the annual hour requirements. Volunteers must also sign an annual Volunteer Agreement form which is usually distributed in November.</p>
<p>Please record any volunteer hours before the end of the year (December 31, 2016). The easiest way to record hours is to go to our website. Please follow these directions:</p>

<li>Click on “Click here” on the page</li>
<li>Enter your email address and password</li>
</ol>
<p>If you cannot remember your password or need to set a new one, follow these directions:</p>
<ol>
<li>Follow steps 1 through 4 as stated above</li>
<li>Click on “click here to set your password”</li>
<li>Enter your email address</li>
<li>Click on: “Send Password Link”</li>
</ol>
<p>The only way we know that hours have been earned is if you report them. These hours are also submitted to the state to support funding. The sooner we have the information, the better. <p>Many volunteer opportunities are available before the end of the year. Please review the listserv for emails including activities, times and places. For contact information for specific gardens or projects, please reference the 2016 Master Gardener Handbook and Membership Directory. Email Ava if you need a copy.</p>
