Whether you shoot with a digital SLR, point-and-shoot or even your phone, you can take frame-worthy photos. All you have to do is learn a few techniques, and then shoot. Chris Tidrick will teach you the basic techniques of garden photography that can be used with the camera you already own.</p>

<p>This program will include an introductory discussion of the value of native trees and shrubs presented by Sandy Mason, UI Extension Horticulture Educator. It will be followed by a discussion of particular species well-suited for central Illinois led by a nursery owner specializing in native plants. This program coincides with a <a style="color: #4276aa;" href="https://web.extension.illinois.edu/registration/?RegistrationID=12122"><span style="color: #4276aa;">native tree and shrub sale</span></a> sponsored by ECIMN to provide access to native species not often available locally.</p>

<p>Champaign County Master Gardeners have the opportunity to tour Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery followed by a farm luncheon with locally sourced, seasonal foods on <strong>Tuesday, August 18 beginning at 10:30 am</strong>. <strong>Registration is required by Monday, August 10.</strong> The combined cost of the tour and luncheon is $20, payable upon arrival on the farm day-of the tour. Cash, check, and credit card are accepted. Please select your lunch preference below.</p>
<p>Meet at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 18 at the farm, 4410 N. Lincoln Ave., Champaign. Attendees will be lead on an hour-long tour led by Prairie Fruit Farms staff. The tour will consist of barns, orchards, and vegetable gardens as well as meeting the "ladies" who make up the farm's milking goat herd. Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. The event will be held rain or shine. Indoor seating will be available during lunch. To facilitate parking, please carpool.</p>

<p>Interested in expanding the use of native plants in your yard or garden? East Central Illinois Master Naturalists (ECIMN) are making available for purchase a selection of trees and shrubs indigenous to Illinois. <p>Your order will be <strong>delivered locally for pickup on Friday, 9/11/2015 (3pm-7pm) or Saturday, 9/12/2015 (9am-noon)</strong> at the Champaign County Forest Preserve District (CCFPD) Maintenance Building located at 650 N Lombard, Mahomet, IL. It is located just S of the Museum of the Prairie at Lake of the Woods. From I-74, go north on Hwy 47 past the cemetery and one house/driveway.
