Morning, Joy,
It would be so nice if more MG's would be on the walk. I don't know how many years some of us have been saying that.
I agree that work is involved in being on the walk but if the committee choses a garden they don't expect the gardener to read so much more into this. We all will, of course, want those weeds out of there & to fill in a bare spot or two & maybe transplant that
plant that we have been meaning too. Maybe you always wanted a certain hanging basket somewhere; so good to have a good reason to do so.
But basically your garden will be chosen exactly as it is. And, there is help from other Master gardeners should you want or need it.
Give it a chance! You'll be glad you did, MG's. We have to remember that people coming into your garden do not see those little things that bug us. I learned that lessen recently when someone said how beautiful my garden is and all I could see were those darn
tree seed weeds all over the place. Visitors are busy looking at the specimens & placement of your plants. They want ideas for their own gardens.

So, who will be the first to contact Joy and her co-chair saying, I'll be on the 2016 garden walk?

Hello All,

Garden Walk 2015 was a magnificent success thanks to the efforts of so many of you. I personally thank you for your amazing work.

Do you have a friend or neighbor with a lovely garden? Would you consider being on the Garden Walk? Please send me any names & addresses of gardens to be considered for next years Walk. I intend to spend much of tomorrow and the next day out and about
examining potential gardens (no rest for the wicked!), so let me know if you have any suggestions.

Best,
