<p>Prosperity Gardens is looking for volunteers to help serve as group leaders during our Garden Club with Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club. Garden Club is at Prosperity Gardens at 302 N First Street in Champaign. <strong>Garden Club is held every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m</strong>. A garden-based-nutrition-education curriculum is used each week, involving a garden activity and harvesting, preparing and eating a healthy snack.</p>
<p>Prosperity Gardens needs excited people to work with kids aged 5-9, who love to garden, teach and learn!</p>

<p>Summer is the season to garden and share the produce with friends and family. Learn how to incorporate varieties of herbs in your daily dishes and specialty dishes that will quickly become fan favorites. Champaign County Master Gardeners welcome Susan Biggs-Warner of the Vermilion County Conservation District as she presents <strong><em>Cooking with Herbs</em> on Tuesday, June 30 at 6:30 pm</strong>.</p>
<p>This will be a hands-one, mouth-watering presentation as samples will be available of herb delights. Recipes of each dish will be distributed.</p>

<p>Freshwater is precious to living things and it is becoming increasingly scarce due to misuse, pollution, and climate change. Rain gardens are a beautiful way to help keep clean, fresh rainwater out of the sewer system and to reduce pollution and preserve our water systems. Further, a rain garden can support threatened pollinators when they include native plants vital to pollinating insects and birds. And you don't have to be a scientist or ecologist to establish a successful rain garden. </p>
<p>The Champaign County Master Gardeners and the East Central Illinois Master Naturalists invite you to learn more about rain gardens at the following events:</p>
