This is just a reminder to register for the Annual Business Meeting (details below).  There is a wonderful program planned that will highlight the past 20 yrs. of the Master Gardner program. 2017 Master Gardeners Annual Business Meeting

What:         Annual Business Meeting and Potluck Dinner followed by the monthly program Celebrating 20 Years at the Idea Garden (see below)

When:         November 14, 2017 at 6:00 PM

Where:       Extension Auditorium

Main dish (chicken) and drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish to share. Please register by November 10, 2017. Open only to Master Gardeners (including interns).

Celebrating 20 Years at the Idea Garden - with a special appearance by (some of) The Originals

In 1997, a small group of Master Gardeners, who became known as The Originals, began transforming  a weed-filled  field of clay soil into the lush, gorgeous oasis that today is the Idea Garden. This program will look back on how the Idea Garden was conceived and developed and will look forward at plans for continuing and enhancing the Idea Garden. Some of The Originals (including Phyllis Brussels, Laura Hartman, Mary Schroer, Aporn Surintramont  and State Master Gardener Coordinator Sandy Mason) will discuss creation of the Idea Garden. Idea Garden Tri-Chair Jana Waite will share the results of this year's planning for the future of the Idea Garden.
