[CCMG-Announce] Warning - Spam Email Sent to Some CCMGs

Good afternoon Master Gardeners,

One of our University of Illinois Extension staff members was hacked earlier today and a spam email was sent to all her contacts, which may include some of you as Champaign County Master Gardeners. If you received an email from msteine3 at illinois.edu<mailto:msteine3 at illinois.edu> within in the past 6 hours, please do not open it or click on any of the links as it may lead to spamming or hacking.

As it stands, both Extension IT and the University's IT staff are aware of the hacking and have since protected Melissa, whose email it was that got hacked.

I apologize for the inconvenience and encourage each of you to remain cautious when opening any suspicious emails.
