It's time to start thinking about next year's Garden Walk!

We will have our inaugural 2017 Garden Walk Committee meeting next Tuesday, August 9th, at 9:00 am. Annette and I will announce the theme, show photos of the selected gardens, and unveil the poster. As if that weren't enough, there are several spots open for site chairs and subcommittee chairs. I invite both returning and new members to attend and grab these spots while they last.

There is a Garden Walk job for you no matter what your physical abilities or experience are. Every job helps the event run smoothly. You can jump right in and head a subcommittee or site, or you can start small and work your way up. I started as a garden angel in 2010, did a few other jobs, and now you can't get rid of me as co-chair. The satisfaction of helping with the big event of the year is almost better than chocolate.

If you are on the mailing list, you will receive your agenda and minutes of the previous meeting on Sunday. If you are new, let me know, and I will add you to the list. I hope to see you on Tuesday.
