[CCMG-Announce] Interested in Becoming an Officer/Chair?

Master Gardeners,

 

It is time for the Leadership and Nominations Committee to formulate a slate
of officers for 2016, to be voted on at our annual business meeting in
November. The officer positions are president, vice-president, treasurer,
and secretary. We also have four positions for member-at-large. If you are
interested in serving in such a manner or have a nomination, please contact
me. According to our bylaws, you may contact anyone on the committee (Debbie
Day, Kathryn Fletcher, Steven Mullen, and June van Vorst), but for
efficiency I request that you contact me. 

 

We are also responsible for selecting standing committee chairs. You may
nominate yourself or others for chair of Communications, Membership, Office
Operations, or Program. There are four more committees for which we will not
be taking names: Finance, Leadership Development and Nominations, Garden
Walk, and Idea Garden. The first two have chairs specified in our bylaws,
and the last two are selected entirely within those committees.

 

The deadline for nominations is 5:00 pm on September 18th.
